Libcom.de can manage OpenWrt devices for you remotely. We will create a secure channel to make sure no third party can access or manipulate. This is the ideal combination for Campus WiFi installations or cloud based firewall solutions that all follow the same, strict standards.
¶ About OpenWrt
OpenWrt is a magic box of surprises. I can run on devices with only 8 MB of disk space and as low as 64 of RAM. While we do not recommend to do so it runs blazingly fast on x86 hardware or as a virtual machine.
OpenWrt comes with UCI which is the Unified Configuration Interfaces. This means the configuration files do not differ between the different configuration chapters but all follow the same syntax. One of the biggest strength of OpenWrt is the fact that it runs on tons of different platforms like MIPS, ARM but also on amd64. It supports a wide variety of WiFi chips and it also comes with WiFi 6 support.
OpenWrt also has tools for a huge variety of dynamic routing algorithms; the default stuff like
- IS-IS
- OSPF
- BGP (bird / frr)
- OLSR
On top of that there are dynamic routing solutions from the big Open Source community like:

- babeld
- bmx7
- 802.11s meshing
